The Salty Putter grips feature a very light weight and consistent cork material that provides the unique feel of a high quality fly fishing rod. The premium cork material is harvested and milled in Portugal and then hand finished in Virginia. Each grip is then sealed with fly rod grade polymer for durability and waterproofing. The waterproofing is saturated deep into the cork allowing the grip to be lightly sanded to a desired texture without sacrificing the integrity of the waterproofing.
